Philadelphia

The Attic Youth Center -
The Attic is one of the leading LGBTQ Youth Community Centers in the nation. They host a variety of programs, social services, and events which engage hundreds of youth. They provide a diversity of services, so check out their website for more information!

Ally Safe Schools Program - The Mazzoni Center
The Mazzoni Center’s Ally Safe Schools Program works with staff and young people within Philadelphia schools and out-of-school time programs to help create safer, more welcoming, and more inclusive climates for LGBTQ youth. The High School GSA network of Phildadelphia is run through this program.

Delaware Valley

The Main Line Youth Alliance -
The Main Line Youth Alliance (MYA) provides gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender questioning youth and straight allies, with social educational and supportive activities in a confidential, respectful and safe environment. MYA programs, unique in the Philadelphia’s western suburbs, encourages healthy relationships with peers, family and community. MYA meets every Friday evening from 7:00pm-9:30 pm at the Central Baptist Church in Wayne.

The Rainbow Room – Planned Parenthood Association of Bucks County
The Rainbow Room is a social support program in Doylestown (Wednesdays) and Levittown (Mondays) for LGBTQA youth ages 14-21. Professional training and sexuality education for all ages on LGBTQA, sexuality and social justice issues.

Central Pennsylvania

The Curve -Planned Parenthood Association of York
The Curve is a support program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth and their allies who are between the ages of 14 and 21, and is a safe, supportive, welcoming and fun environment for advocacy and educational and recreational activities. The Curve meets every other Thursday from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. in Planned Parenthood of Central PA’s York health center. Common Roads - The LGBT Community Center Coalition of Central PA
Common Roads provides education, advocacy, and programming to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth throughout the Central Pennsylvania region. Common Road’s Friday Night Safe Space is a support and social evening for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and allied youth (14-22) held every Friday night, 7:00-9:30 p.m. at both their Harrisburg and Lancaster locations.

Lancaster Pride Youth Outreach – Lancaster Pride
This committee hosts events and programs geared for LGBTQ youth in relation to outreach for Lancaster Pride. Check out their website for upcoming youth events in the Lancaster area!

Pittsburgh

Youth Night – The Gay and Lesbian Community Center (GLCC)
The GLCC hosts a weekly Youth Night for young people to come together to hang out and talk about LGBTQ youth issues. Ages 14-18 welcome. Meetings take place at the GLCC (210 Grant Street.)

Youth Empowerment Project and After School Program – PERSAD
PERSAD runs an after school program for high school aged youth every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Pittsburgh GLCC (210 Grant St.) They have special events and have safe spaces for doing homework, as well as facilators to help with schoolwork as needed. The Youth Empowerment Project is a program which engages LGBTQ youth in the Pittsburgh area.

GLSEN Pittsburgh
GLSEN Pittsburgh is a very active network of youth and educators working towards safter schools in Pittsburgh. They are the only GLSEN chapter in Pennsylvania. They offer a variety of services, so please check out their website for more information on their youth programming.

Dreams of Hope –
Dreams of Hope (DOH) has established itself as Pittsburgh’s only arts-focused, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied (LGBTA) youth (13-21) organization.

Lehigh Valley

Haven – The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley
Haven is an open community striving for inclusiveness, valuing individual rights, personal freedoms and ecological/social responsibilities at both the secular and spiritual levels.  Haven Youth Group is one program of UUCLV which provides a safe, supportive environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transgender questioning youth, while providing positive role models and peer support, sponsoring social and recreational activities, and safe weekly meetings for GLBT youth. Location : Universalist Church at 424 Center Street in Bethlehem. Haven Youth Group meets every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Meetings are open to GLBTAQI youth ages 14-20.

The Spectrum – Planned Parenthood Association of Northeast, Mid-Penn & Bucks County
The Spectrum is a safe haven for LGBTQ youth, ages 14 – 21, in the Greater Reading area. Teens participate in recreational activities, socialize and receive information related to health, sexuality, and life skills.  LGBTQ youth face discrimination and increased risk for self-destructive behavior and other challenges.  SPECTRUM helps by providing support, camaraderie and education.
